we started the easter weekend by teaching babybug how to hunt for eggs. there was a easter fair and egg hunt at our local elementary school on staurday. i wanted babybug to be fast and quick with the egg collecting. a ruthless little easter bunny for her first egg hunt. i know, kind of terrible, what am i teaching my child. anyway, husband coached her like a good competitive father. she was ready. we arrived at the fair at 2 p.m. only to find out the egg hunt started at 4:30 p.m. the poor child was so ready and armed with her basket that she began picking up leaves and twigs.
easter sunday we colored eggs and made origami easter baskets.
spent the afternoon with friends at the honolulu aquarium (check out the live cameras of sharks, monk seals and coral)...
i knew something like this would happen. below is a picture of my cracked wall. the construction company claim the cracks were already there. give me a break...that many cracks concentrated where they were working?! we already contacted our lawyer. the house is fifty years old but the wall is NOT! we had it built to since we have a corner lot on a busy street. my grandfather was always afraid a speeding car could crash into the house. you can totally tell the cracks are fresh. pieces even crumble off when you touch it. the thing that pisses me off is the fact that we were being nice to them. we let them use our water bib and babybug even passed out soda to them a couple of days last week. just another week (i hope) of this crap.
coming tomorrow...a thank you.
