the easiest pot roast ever...
this is husband's favorite dinner. believe it or not, my dad taught me how to make it. i'm pretty sure it's a popular crock-pot recipe.
chuck roast
two cans of cream of mushroom soup
one packet of dry instant onion soup
one cup water
one large onion cubed
two cloves of chopped garlic
pinch of salt
carrots, celery and potatoes optional
brown meat. add all of above into crock pot. cook on low for six hours. (to thicken gravy, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with water until it dissolves. stir into gravy quickly to avoid lumps.)
voila! crazy easy! super yummy!
